The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, April 4 reveals Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will learn Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) blood was drawn before the accident.
Also coming up, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will profess his love to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will rescind her offer to purchase McCall. And Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will turn the tables on Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei).
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will try to tempt Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to sell to her. He’ll chuckle and admire how relentless she is. Tucker will ask why his company is so appealing to her, when her father is just going to hand it over to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). “Why are you on board with that?” She’ll say she has her own plans for the company. But Tucker will ask her if the conflict is worth it. Then she’ll tell him he’s right and will rescind her offer to purchase his company.

Meanwhile, Abby will consider Devon’s suggestion that she move in with him. She’ll say it would be really hard on Chance. “I know exactly how I feel about you,” Devon will reply. “I love you.” Abby will say she wasn’t expecting the L word. She’ll admit she blew up her life when she cheated on Chance. So, she needs time to think about it. But Abby will also say there is one thing he needs to know. “I love you too.”
At the GCAC, Daniel and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will still be in shock. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that despite her differences with Phyllis, she was praying for her to survive.
“Stop pretending that you give a damn that Phyllis is dead,” Stark will say to Diane. “This is exactly what you wanted to happen.” Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will decide to take Summer home. Diane will tell her she’s so sorry but Summer will just glare at her.
Stark will tell Chance they should focus on what happened before the accident. Then Chance will head to the lobby and ask the EMT if he drew any blood from Phyllis before the crash. He’ll say he did and he placed it in a metal container. A policewoman will approach Chance and he’ll tell her Phyllis’ blood needs to be tested. There could be a more sinister reason why she collapsed.

Back in the lounge, Daniel will ask Stark if he’s the reason his mother is dead. He’ll say Phyllis called him a criminal. “Phyllis got so close to me, so fast, because everyone else, including you, turned their backs on her,” Stark will respond. “So if you want to pin her death on someone, look in the mirror.” Then Daniel will lunge at him, but Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will pull him back.
Finally, Chance will return to the lounge and tell everyone there how sorry he is. He’ll say he has no new information and will encourage everyone to leave. Jack will take the opportunity to tell Stark that Diane isn’t the only person he needs to worry about.
As everyone heads out, the policewoman will ask Chance if he thinks one of them could have murdered Phyllis. He’ll tell her they’ll know more when they get the blood test results. “If there’s something in her blood that shouldn’t have been, it’s possible that what happened to Phyllis wasn’t an accident,” Chance will add. “It’s possible somebody was trying to kill her.”
